To Whom it May Concern:
I am currently seeking an elementary classroom position. I am looking for a school and an area where I could move and call it home. I am interested in finding the right district to teach with for a lifetime. I am currently a student of New England College seeking a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. I will graduate in December of 2009. Soon after I will seek my principal licensure. I do not yet know if I will pursue that course in my educational career as I still love being in the classroom. I am a graduate of Drury University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I hold a Missouri teaching certificate for grades 1-6. My background in education spans over 10 years. I have worked as an aide in regular classrooms, as well as special education, EMH (educa-mentally handicapped,) BD (behavior disordered,) and ED (emotional disordered) classrooms. I love teaching and could not imagine doing anything else. I enjoy working in the classroom setting and providing assistance to children with varying levels of need.
I have made an exciting and fulfilling career choice and am excited to continue working in the educational setting in a classroom where I feel I can be most beneficial. I consistently work toward furthering my education and increasing my quality of services that I can provide to my students and to the district where I am employed. I enjoy doing a variety of jobs and always do the best to give the most to everything I do.
I am a high-quality educator and I am an effective instructor. I am outgoing, resourceful and motivated in my pursuit to see my students succeed. I strive to be the best employee and teacher and always plan ahead to ensure organization. I am very innovative and use my creativity to entertain and teach. I would be an asset to a school district due to my ability to perform any role requested of me.
Thank you for considering my resume and I look forward to hearing from you to discuss employment opportunities.
Sincerely,

Jeromy Pc Sumner
